Book Review: Some Kind of Blunderful

Last week, Livy Hart’s new book SOME KIND OF BLUNDERFUL came out. Normally I try to get my arc reviews posted before books published but there’s been a lot of sickness in my house so I wasn’t able to finish it until the beginning of this week, but man was it good!

When Mia and Alex first meet, it’s for a disastrous first date. Alex is all corporate and serious, whereas Mia is a school teacher who loves arts and crafts. Alex is also the new hotshot boss for Mia’s dad who is cleaning house and took the job he wanted. Even worse, Mia and Alex’s best friends are dating. Basically the two can’t escape each other.

But the more time they end up spending together, from basketball games to company picnics and volunteering, Mia realizes there is a lot more to Alex that she thought. And Alex discovers that maybe there’s more to life than climbing the corporate ladder on your own.

This book was so adorable! I loved Mia and Alex so much. Such great opposites, so much chemistry. It was fun and flirty. There was a little bit of forbidden love, some forced proximity, opposites attract. Definitely add this to your TBR!
